The Real Review

Medium to light straw-yellow colour. Pronounced bready, cracked-yeast bouquet of charm and complexity. Creamy palate with excellent texture and softness, also richness and density, but lightness and elegance. Fills the mouth, and the senses. Fresh, lively acid, in harmony. Superb bubbly of great balance, poise and persistence. Archetypal Champagne. Can't remember when the Yellow Label impressed me so much

James Suckling

Attractive creamy pastry notes and pithy lemon citrus fruits on offer here. There's also a gently nutty edge of autolysis, all locked in nice and fresh here. The palate's bright, crisp and has attractive fresh lemon and peach-fruit flavours.

Pale straw gold. Light, complex nose. Good savour. Some smokiness. Really neat and tight. Lots of potential. Some appley acidity and really clean on the end. Very complex on the end. Full of vitality. One of the most youthful wines in this dozen. Delicate bead.
